Roberto Di Matteo had a strange line-up for do and die champions league tie against Juventus. Following 3-0 lost he definitely new it is just a matter of time before he park his bags.

The former Chelsea midfielder took over Chelsea following AVB sack and was followed by astonishing results which saw Chelsea go all the way to win the Champions League and then FA cup title. Despite Chelsea recent attractive football they have drop back in premier league title race and the worst is losing the prospect of qualification to the last 16 in UEFA champions’ league. 1 Top 5 scorers in Premier league, La Liga, League one, Bundesliga and Serie A in battle for European leagues golden boot on 30 Oct 2012

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo
Top scorers in European leagues are in tough battle for golden boots aside playing for club targets. Here are top scorers tables for five biggest European leagues Barclays Premier League, Spanish La Liga, Italy Serie A, France League one and German Bundesliga.

Previous season Lionel Messi won pichichi, the golden boot award at La liga scoring 50 goal for Barcelona FC and Also overall top scorer in Europe. Former Arsenal striker, Robin Van Persie top EPL goal scorers table netting 30 goals while Klaas-Jan Huntelaar netted 29 for Schalke 04 beating Mario Gomez on last games. Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored 28 with AC Milan and Olivier Giroud bagged 21 for Montpellier before his move Arsenal.

Following top scorers' transfer between league, new top scorer name is expected for Serie A and League one. Last season European  and La liga top scorer, Lionel Messi has already made a bold statement of intention to fight for the two awards. Similarly Baclays premier league Robin Van Persie and last season Seria A top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic already leading in their leagues.

Barclays Premier league top scorers (30Oct2012)
 No  Player  Team  Goals (P)
1 Demba Ba Newcastle United 7
2 Robin Van Persie Manchester United  7 (1)
3 Luis Suárez     Liverpool FC 6
4 Miguel Cuesta  Swansea City  6
5 Edin Džeko           Manchester City 5
Robin Van Persie did not need time to adapt in his new team and fit in the squad right away. One can not bet against him not to finish high in the table if he avoid injuries. So far no other consistent goal scoring in EPL table. Recently Manchester United have been struggling both at Premier league and Champions league, Van Persie could score even more if United regain their pace. Demba Ba seem to have lost something after Demba Cisse arrival but this season he is back on his form again. As usually, Fernando Torres not in the top 5 list, but has 4 goals which is not very bad as most would think.

Premier league top assists
Eden Hazard Chelsea 5
Juan Mata Chelsea 5

Spanish La Liga top scorers (30Oct2012)
No Player Team Goals (P)
1 Lionel Messi     Barcelona 13 (1)
2 Cristiano Ronaldo   Real Madrid 11 (4)
3 Radamel Falcao Atletico Madrid 10 (4)
4 Aritz Aduriz Athletic Bilbao 6
5 Álvaro Negredo     Sevilla FC  6 (1)
The battle is even tougher at La Liga with two top scorer Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. For Lionel Messi, One would think he is always focusing on breaking soccer records. Last season, Lionel Messi he breaks several record, but one outstanding record was 72 goals record in one season. He went on top became Barcelona's all time leading goals scorer. This season he has started very well and already on 13 goals. His biggest rival Cristiano had fantastic goal scoring  record for Real Madrid last season and he might has push Messi to keep on scoring. He is very close as usually and this table could change overnight. Radamel Falcao is a threat for any striker fighting for pichichi, with few opportunities he still managed to stay close to Messi and Ronaldo. Recently he has been branded as the best world number 9. La Liga strikers have dominated European top goals scorers awards in the past ten years. They won 5 time in ten year, four consecutive in last 4 years.

La Liga top assists
Cesc Fábregas Barcelona 7
Beñat Real Betis 4
Lionel Messi Barcelona 4
Bundesliga top scorers (30Oct2012)
 No  Player  Team  Goals (P)
1 Mario Mandžukić Bayern Munich  8
2 Ádám Szalai     FSV Mainz 05 7 (1)
3 Alexander Meier   Eintracht Frankfurt  6
4 Stefan Kießling     Bayer Leverkusen 5 (1)
5 Thomas Müller Bayern Munich   5
Bundesliga believed to be one of the toughest league in Europe and being a top scorer one need to be a really good striker. It is also a matter of being able to convert scarce chances which occur. Mario Gomez and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar showed what is takes to score many goals. Mario Mandzukic is yet to take Gomez responsibility he seems not to be sharp and he missed many clear chance. All in all Bundesliga strikers are not scoring many goals, last time Bundesliga striker won European golden boot was in 1971 -1972 season and this time was really a top scorer, Gerd Muller.

Bundesliga top assists
Szabolcs Huszti Hannover 96 7
Bastian Oczipka Eintracht Frankfurt 5
Thomas Müller Bayern Munich 5
Italy Serie A top scorers (30Oct2012)
 No  Player  Team  Goals (P)
1 Edinson Cavani     SSC Napoli    6 (2)
2 Miroslav Klose      Lazio Roma 6 (0)
3 Stephan El Sharawy  AC Milan     6 (0)
4 Alberto Gilardino     Bologna FC 5 (0)
5 Antonio Cassano   Inter Milan   5 (0

SerieA is know for defense minded game which make it hard for striker just like Bundesliga. It is the same style which also displayed by national teams. In this table there are top striker but can they be consistent throughout the season? Klose is a natural goal getter but not he might have started to slow his pace.

League 1 top scorers (30Oct2012)
 No  Player  Team  Goals (P)
1 Zlatan Ibrahimović  Paris Saint-Germain 10 (1)
2 Wissam Ben Yedder Toulouse FC 7

Pierre Aubameyang  AS Saint-Étienne 6
4 Andre-Pierre Gignac Olympique Marseille 5
5 Anthony Le Tallec   Valenciennes FC 5
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been scoring goals for PSG right from day one, his ffirst goal in three minutes. He is surrounded by top players who could create chances for him combined with his ability he is ready to go for league one golden boot. Can he win European golden boot? Very possible especially with chance of Carlo Ancelotti signing top other players in January transfer window.

League one top asssits
Gaël Danic Valenciennes 5
Alain Traoré Lorient 4
Antoine Devaux Stade de Reims 4
Etienne Didot    Toulouse 4
