0 FIFA/Cocacola world ranking for Africa (CAF) national teams 2011

Africa national football teams FIFA/Cocacola ranking released on Jun 2011. FIFA ranking for (CAF)Africa teams moved Cote d'Ivoire 7 place up in world ranking: their best position ever in the ranking. After the 2010 world cup success, South Africa seems to be dropping having moved from 90th to 38th in the last ranking.

0 Updated FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking top ten ranking Jun 2011,

New FIFA countries football ranking have been released today. The new FIFA ranking has pushed Brazil from third place to fifth place after losing 295 points, Argentina move from fifth to tenth place having lost 288 points while Uruguay drop 185 points and move to 18th place. Mexico have jumped to 9th position from 28th after gaining 205 points, success came after their victory at the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Among top ten nationals only World cup winner Spain and Wolrd cup runner-up Netherlands maintained their position from last month FIFA ranking.

0 UEFA: Champion League Draw first and second round 2011-2012

UEFA champion league competition is set to kick off on June 28th as low ranked teams will play first and second round matches.
Champion League First Qualifying Round on June 28 and July 5 2011. First qualifying round has teams ranking at 50-53 positions in UEFA competition.

1 Man utd and other clubs England premier league football records

Manchester United wrapped up their 19th premiership league title 103 years later since winning their first EPL title in 1907/1908 season. The successes come after they won 12 league titles while Liverpool stayed at 18 titles since they won their last EPL title in 1990. The red devils also are leading club in EPL runner-up, 14 times, followed by Liverpool finishing second in 12 seasons. Only four clubs; Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Huddersfield have won the league title in three consecutive years, but Manchester United have done that twice. Manchester United squad

Manchester United have also equaled 18 homes wins, a record previous held by Chelsea after winning 18 out of 19 homes games in 2005-06. The red devils are also leading away goal scorers in one league season with 47 goals in 2001-02 and they have conceded fewest goals 4 in home ground in 1994-95. Chelsea are currently holding a four seasons clean sheet record followed by Manchester United and Arsenal but Chelsea record is also a consecutive run of clean sheet in four season which was interrupted in the fourth season.

0 Phil Jones join Chris Smalling and Manchester United for a 5 years contract

Manchester United has confirmed the signing of the England under 21 and Blackburn centre-half Phil Jones on 5 year contract. The 19 years old, is set to join another England under 21 player, Chris Smalling who have had a superb season with Manchester United last season.

0 European U21 championships: England vs Spain could it be like Barcelona and Manchester?

England under 21 squad is set to kicks of the European U21 championship campaign against Spain today. Stuart Pearce’s squad reached the competition final last year but were beaten 4-0 by German. The championship kicked off yesterday and saw Belarus emerging victorious against Iceland with 2-0 win and Switzerland beat Denmark 1-0 in Group A. In recent years England squad have been improving and many are expecting the trend from being semi-finalist in 2007 and finalist in 2009 might go all the way to being the new European U21 champions.

The Spain team that won Seniors Euro 2008 had 20 players coming from U 21 team in previous years. It then took the senior team only two years to win the world cup for the first time in history. Despite Spain football being high rated, especially after recent UEFA final championship match which saw Barcelona beating Manchester United 3-1, Stuart Pearce is confident they will beat rivals.

England U21 squad have Daniel Sturridge (Chelsea), Scott Sinclair (Swansea City), Smalling (Manchester United). Spain U21 squad is also full of talents including the 20 years old goalkeeper David De Gea (Atlético Madrid) whom Sir Alex Ferguson has been targeting as a replacement of Edwin Van Der Sar.
