0 Barclay's Premier League: Liverpool held by Sunderland, Bolton sink QPR to go top of the table
Barclay's premier league is back again, eight matches were scheduled to take place on Saturday 13 August for round one with Manchester United and Chelsea scheduled to go on pitch on Sunday against Stoke City respectively. After premier league transfers in this summer, premiership clubs are looking to make use of their new players. The start of premier league season have seen no home win after first scheduled matches finish at 9pm. Fulham drew with Aston Villa 0-0.
Liverpool at home drew with Sunderland 1-1
Liverpool had new summer transfer signing Sanchez Jose Enrique, Charlie Adam, Stewart Downing and Andrew Carroll starting for the game with Sunderland. Luis Suarez missing a penalty kick on 6 minute after Kieran Richardson foul. But it was the Copa America runner-up top scorer; Luis Suarez again in 12 minute who put Liverpool forward with a header from Charlie Adam assist. Sunderland leveled the score on 57 minute from Sebastian Larsson with fantastic goal thanks to Ahmed Elmohamady cross.
Mauro Formica scored opener for Blackburn Rovers to open his goal account on his debut but Wolverhampton equalized on 22 minute, assist from Matthew Jarvis headed Steven Fletcher to the top left corner. Kevin Doyle missing a penalty on 46 minute conceded by Míchel Salgado foul on Matthew Jarvis after Stephen Ward scored the second goal for Wolverhampton Wanderers on 47 minute.
Bolton Wanderers beat Queens Park Rangers 4-0 to go top of premier league table
Bolton playing away at QPR opened the score through Gary Cahill on 45 minute, taking advantage of Chris Eagles assist. The promoted QPR were two goal down on 67 minute, own goal by Daniel Gabbidon and three minutes later, bolton socred their third of the day, Kevin Davies header found Ivan Klasnic who shot to put Queens Park Rangers 3 goals down. Fabrice Muamba scored the fourth for Bolton Wanderersthis time assist from Ivan Klasnic. Bolton victory send them to the top of premier league table on match day one with Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City having games at hand. Wigan Athletic drew with promoted Norwich City 1-1
Wigan Athletic went ahead 21' Ritchie de Laet, new Norwich City signing trying to clear his mistake, fouled Franco Di Santo and gave a penalty converted by Ben Watson. Norwich City were back into the game on 45', Wes Hoolahan leveled the score to secure a point for the promoted Norwich City
