With a £32m deal for Lille midfielder Eden Hazard seems a done deal, Chelsea re now closing on £38m deal for the Brazilian international striker currently playing for Porto, Hulk. Roman Abramovich is set to finish the transfer season earlier as few week after winning the champions league he is closing on £80m signing of two fantastic players. It showed how the manager has been motivated by last season trophies and now he wants more. He has moved faster and reacts to try filling Didier Drogba absence.

Fernando Torres successes in Champions league continues in Barclays Premier League with his first hat-trick for Chelsea in 6-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers and add premier league hat-tricks tally to 19. The hat-trick is his fourth in Premier league.

The £50m striker scores his first hat-trick since Sep 2009 and he promises many more. "My last hat-trick was a long time ago but hopefully it will be the first of many" Torres said. His manager well satisfied with his performance. "I was always pleased with his contribution and he was always working hard for the team, putting the assists in". Di Matteo commented.

Right from the begin Chelsea showed the desire to win and move close Tottenham Spurs. The Blues score early on 9 minute through Daniel Sturridge (his 12th goal of the season) and Ivanovic added the second on 51 minute and Chelsea looked comfortably sealing the three points. Aston Villa then grabbed two quick goals through James Collins and Eric Lichaj. 

The heat raise for both team each going for the winner, but fortune favour the brave, Ivanovic got his second, third for Chelsea before Daniel sturridge release Fernando Torres to score the forth goals and end his Premier league goal drought. It took him six months to score his 4th premiership goal for Chelsea but has been hailed for his goal assist.

Chelsea to fight for Champions league by breaking top 4 or winning Champion league this season.

Chelsea lag behind Arsenal and Tottenham by 5 and 2 points respectively, but spurs has a game at hand against Swansea City on Sunday. Still tough for Chelsea to break in top four considering opponents forms and few games remaining but surely Di Mateo will try to push hard and hard. Chelsea will still be in Champions League next season even if they fail to make top four by winning the Champions league this season, which seemed even tougher than breaking into top four. Manchester United stayed closer to Manchester City with 2-1 win over Arsenal at Emirates Stadium. There was nothing much he could do for all three goals. For the third goal it is not clear if he would have reached the ball before Leon Best if Jones avoided deflecting the ball. The second was pretty much super strike though Cabaye went just two steps behind before hitting the ball that hit crossbar and went inn. It was similar to Lampard goal vs Germany that was denied but Howard Webb did not require goal line technology to make decision.
