0 Premier league allowed Chelsea vs QPR handshakes despite Terry Ferdinand incident in last season London derby

Updated video no handshake John Terry and Antony Ferdinand

The round four London Derby Premier League match Loftus Road will be preceded by the usually handshakes ritual.  On their statement Premier league said "All parties understand and acknowledge that the pre-match handshake will go ahead as part of the normal pre-match activity."

There were doubts if players hand shake will take place following Anton Ferdinand and John Terry incident in last season in FA cup.  FA decided to cancel pre-match handshake between players in April 29 at Stamford Bridge due to tense situation.

The England’s captain was cleared of racism slur abuse on court though he is still under Football Association investigation. It is anticipated that Ferdinand might avoid Terry’s hand shake as well as Ashley Cole who testifies as a witness during the trial. If Ferdinand reject handshakes, will QPR players support his action? How many will support him? QPR manager has made it clear that, his players can decide for themselves how to react.

Champions League champions head coach, Roberto Di Matteo also spoke about Terry-Ferdinand FA cup incident which affect other players and fans. "We're going to respect the rules and the protocol that is in place from the Premier League and set a positive standard to the millions of people watching across the world".

Terry had been previous faced with hand shake situation with Former Chelsea defender, Wayne Bridge accusing him of involvement with his former girlfriend.  Wayne Bridge refused to Terry’s hand shake in Chelsea Manchester City game in 2010.
