The match went to extra time and Drogba fouled Franck
Ribery in penalty box and referee point to the spot but Petr Cech saved Arjen Robben's penalty to rescue the
team as well as the Ivorian striker. The Blues hold on till penalty shootout and
once again their Champions league fate decided by penalty shootout as in 2008
final with Manchester United. This time John Terry who missed the deciding
penalty in 2008 was serving his suspension. Drogba took the deciding penalty
this time and sent Manuel Neuer the
wrong side to give Abramovich his first Champions league title. Chelsea interim Manager, Roberto Di Matteo has won FA cup and Champions League will be expected to be confirmed as full manager.
