1 Lionel Messi score 4 to reach 50 goals in La Liga, 72 all competition and close to Pichichi trophy and Golden boot

The Barcelona star score 4 goals to set new high La Liga goals record and the world record of most goals in a season Barcelona 4-0 win against Espanyol at Nou Camp.  Messi has now scored 50 goals in La Liga this season and 72 goals in all competition this season alone. With his 14th hat-trick in Spanish league puts him ahead of Cesar Rodriguez for 5 goals more. Argentinian has reached 251 in 327 Barcelona appearances
Pep Guardiola received the best sent off with hug from Messi following 50th league goal. In his four seasons with Barcelona, Guardiola has won 13 titles.
The new La Liga champions, Real Madrid also won 2-1 against Granada with Cristiano Ronaldo score to reach 45 goals in La Liga season, 59 in all competitions and 300th goal in Real Madrid jersey. And he raised his record to 111 goals in just 100 league appearances for the Spanish giants. With Messi leading other top scorers by far, he has almost secured the pichichi trophy and Golden Boot.
Excluding penalty kick for 11 Messi and 19 for Ronaldo, Messi would still be leading Ronaldo at 61 goals against 40 goals in all competition.
