4 Euro 2012 final: 67 goals in 26 matches, one penalty, one own goal, one denied goal and two top goal scorers on three goals

After 26 matches, 24 group matches and 2 quarter finals a total of 67 goals have been scored so far. Only one own goal, which occurred when England play Sweden and Glen Johnson failed to clear Olof Mellberg shoot. Only two penalties have been awarded, both to Greece, first in Greece vs Poland group stage which saw substitute goalkeeper Przemysław Tytoń saving Giorgos Karagounis's penalty kick. Euro 2012 championship kick-off yesterday with two group A matches between Poland vs Greece and Russia vs Czech Republic. In the first game the host drew 1-1 with Greece in a game which saw two red cards. First red went to Greece defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos and second to Poland goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny in a foul which resulted to penalty kick for Greece but Giorgos Karagounis penalty was saved by substitute Poland Golie Przemyslaw Tyton.
