4 Euro 2012 final: 67 goals in 26 matches, one penalty, one own goal, one denied goal and two top goal scorers on three goals

After 26 matches, 24 group matches and 2 quarter finals a total of 67 goals have been scored so far. Only one own goal, which occurred when England play Sweden and Glen Johnson failed to clear Olof Mellberg shoot. Only two penalties have been awarded, both to Greece, first in Greece vs Poland group stage which saw substitute goalkeeper Przemysław Tytoń saving Giorgos Karagounis's penalty kick. Another penalty was scored by Dimitris Salpigidis in Greece vs Germany quarter final. 

Germany has scored more goals (9) but has also played more goals than other country which are yet to player quarter final stage matches. Four players have scored three goals each, but only two of them are still in the tournament. Euro 2012 is yet to see hat-trick but Cristiano Ronaldo and Gomez went close. 

Real Madrid lead as club whose players has most goals combined as Ronaldo, Sami Khedira and Pepe has scored 5 together. Whereas Manchester City has most players (Joleon Lescott David Silva, Samir Nasri and Mario Balotelli) who has so far scored in the tournament.

0 UEFA Euro 2012 final: France and England overcome Ukraine and Sweden to top group Dngland face Sweden

UEFA Euro 2012 final group D matches so France and England picking the win against Ukraine and Sweden respectively. France and England tied at 4 points each but France have good goal difference.The two were the favorite in this group and now their fate in Poland Ukraine finals is more clearer.

France, the 1998 World cup champions maintains their 22 matches unbeaten run and well set to extend the record. The two France top scorers Benzema and Giroud haven't scored yet in the tournament.

1 Euro2012: Poland drew 1-1 as Tyton save penalty, Russia outplayed Czech republic 4-1 as Alan Dzagoev score twice

Euro 2012 championship kick-off yesterday with two group A matches between Poland vs Greece and Russia vs Czech Republic. In the first game the host drew 1-1 with Greece in a game which saw two red cards. First red went to Greece defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos and second to Poland goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny in a foul which resulted to penalty kick for Greece but Giorgos Karagounis penalty was saved by substitute Poland Golie Przemyslaw Tyton.
