0 Real Madrid one win away from 32nd La Liga title as both Ronaldo and Messi set Spanish league top goals scorers record to 43.

Real Madrid recover from champions league semi-final defeat and moved closer and close to La Liga Championship after 3-0 win over Sevilla to end Barcelona three years dominance.  Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 43rd league goal and 57th in this season. The goal was followed by a brace from Karim Benzema.

Later defending champion Barcelona FC under Tito Vilanova earned a massive 7-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano, a brace from Lionel Messi to tally La Liga goals to 43 and right on course for pichichi. Both Ronaldo and Messi has registered new Spanish league most goals per season records which was set by Ronaldo last years after he scored 40 goals. Messi add his season goal tallies to 65 goals in all competitions. Bayern Munich’s striker, Gerd Muller scored 67 goals in 1972/1973 season a European top scorers record. Other Barcelona goals came from Pedro Rodriguez two goals, Seydou Keita and Thiago Alcantara and Rober (Rayo Vallecano’s defender) scored own goals.

Real Madrid set Spanish leagues goals record to 112.
More football records set and broken. With three top scoring strikers Ronaldo, Benzema and Higuan as well as two top goal assistant Mezut Ozil and Angel Di Maria, Jose Mourinho’s club have set new La Liga most goals record of 112 goals. In La Liga the strikers scored 84 goals, Ronaldo (43), Higuan (21) and Benzema (20) but 30 assists from Mezut Ozil (16) and Angel Di Maria (14) alone. Having being denied early championship celebration with Barcelona win, Madrid can clinch their 32nd La Liga title with win against the on form Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday.

0 Messi on the verge to level or break Barcelona goal scoring record set by Cesar Rodriguez

Lionel Messi is set to level or break club’s all time official goal scoring record of 232 goals reached by Cesar Rodriguez in 1950s. The Barcelona star has scored 231 and he will fancy a chance to level or break Cesar’s record in La Liga match on Tuesday night against strangling Granada.

This season alone, he scored 31 goals in La Liga, 12 goals in Champions league, 2 goals in King’s cup and contributing 16 goal assists in all these and 45 goals competition.  This season alone he has scored 7 hat-tricks for Barcelona, 5 on La Liga and 2 in Champions league. His recent hat-trick was on champions league were he score 5 goals to became the first player to have scored five goals in one match.

In La Liga, Messi won the pichichi trophy in 2008-2009 scoring 34 goals. This season he is second in top goal scorer list following Cristiano Ronaldo who has 32 goals, one more than Messi. In 2010-2011 he set record to be first player to win Champions league golden boot for three consecutive years. Manchester United came from 2 goals down to win 3-2 at Wembley Stadium in thriller come back which showed the winning mentality of the Premier league champions. Earlier big spending Manchester City went ahead thank to goals from Joleon Lescott and Edin Dzeko. Chris Smalling pulled one back on 52 minute before Nani superb performance gave Manchester United an equalizer on 58 minute. It was Nani again who earn the Community Shield for Man Utd with his second goal of the game third for United.

The Spanish under 21 goalkeeper ability to replace Edwin van der Sar was put to question as the two Manchester City are partily his fault. Many football fans seemed to confident that Edwin van der Sar would have served those balls. De Gea has to learn and caught up quickly if he has to match Edwin van der Sar’s record. De Gea made summer transfer move to Manchester United as a replacement for Edwin van der Sar.

1 Man utd and other clubs England premier league football records

Manchester United wrapped up their 19th premiership league title 103 years later since winning their first EPL title in 1907/1908 season. The successes come after they won 12 league titles while Liverpool stayed at 18 titles since they won their last EPL title in 1990. The red devils also are leading club in EPL runner-up, 14 times, followed by Liverpool finishing second in 12 seasons. Manchester United have also equaled 18 homes wins, a record previous held by Chelsea after winning 18 out of 19 homes games in 2005-06. The red devils are also leading away goal scorers in one league season with 47 goals in 2001-02 and they have conceded fewest goals 4 in home ground in 1994-95. Chelsea are currently holding a four seasons clean sheet record followed by Manchester United and Arsenal but Chelsea record is also a consecutive run of clean sheet in four season which was interrupted in the fourth season.
