0 Premier league video highlights: Manchester City vs Liverpool 3-0, Aguero, Toure and Milner on target

Manchester City moved three points at the top of the premier league table with 3-0 victory over Liverpool after losing to Sunderland last game. Manchester United had opportunity last week to top the league but they squander their chance, today they have chance to go level on points with League leader if they beat Newcastle United. It is unthinkable to imagine them winning by 9 goals difference and top the league but this season had many surprising results and one cannot rule out this difficult scenario. Sergio Aguero opened the score, followed by YahyaToure and James Milner nailed the third goal despite Barry being red carded 2 minutes ago. Aguero add his goal tallies to 14 and go level with Demba Ba, three goals behind Robin Van Persie.

1 Premier league wins for Manchester City, United, Tottenham and Chelsea ahead of crucial Champions league and Europa games

Premier league resumed after Carling cup quarter final matches which left Chelsea and Manchester United dumped out by Liverpool and Crystal Palace respectively. Great premier league results for top five teams as they all secured important wins.

The league leader, Manchester City resumed to winning ways with a 5-1 win over Norwich to remain unbeaten in premier league. Sergio Agüero (32'), Samir Nasri (51'), Yaya Touré (68'), Mario Balotelli (88') and Adam Johnson (90') on score sheet for Manchester City. Steve Morison score the only consolation goal for Norwich.

Narrow win for Manchester united to stay second as couple of injuries face both clubs
Phil Jones scored his first goal for Manchester United and the only goal of the matches to secure victory over Aston Villa and prolong United record over Villa to 16 years. Injuries continue mounting for both clubs as Hernandez, Shay Given and Jermaine Jenas got injured during the game.

Tottenham 6th consecutive win record add pressure on Coyle
Tottenham Hotspur scored three goals through Gareth Bale (7'), Aaron Lennon (50') and Jermain Defoe (60') to put more pressure on Coyle, Bolton Wanderers manager. With Sunderland's manager already out pressure is mounting for other manager at the bottom of the table. Tottenham mark a new record with six consecutive wins to go third.

Crucial victory for Chelsea ahead of Valencia and Manchester City games
Chelsea managed to collect all three points and three goals at Newcastle Sports Authority stadium a big boost ahead of crucial games against Valencia and Manchester City. Andre Villas-Boas was impressed by team performance despite failure of Chelsea player to convert easy chance especially by Didier Drogba, Daniel Sturridge Penalty miss by Frank Lampard. Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou and Daniel Sturridge were all on score sheet for Chelsea to go above Newcastle in the premiership log. Chelsea had difficult task putting off the on form Demba Ba who could have forced David Luiz red card on third minute but Chelsea were luck.

Andre Villas-Boas commented on solid performance and went on to say “3-0 was probably slightly excessive, but we were coming up against a team on a great run and with one of the best defences in the league, we did fantastically well, and it was the fairest of results”

Arsenal's top hit man, Robin Van Persie score his 14th goal to send Arsenal to 5th
Arsenal crushed Wigan Athletic 4-0 with goals coming from four different player Mikel Arteta (28'), Thomas Vermaelen (29'), Gervinho (61') and the current premiership top scorer Robin Van Persie (78') who added his goals tally to 14. Arsenal have now moved to fifth place in the Barclays Premier League table as Wigan being sent to 20th position due to poor goal difference.

0 UEFA champions league draw: Why Manchester City group is the group of death?

Machester City face tough opponents on their champion league debut, it could be a group of death.
Manchester City has been drawn alongside Bayern Munich, Villarreal and Napoli in Group A for champions league in group stage. It is the toughest group as Bayern Munich, 4 times UEFA champions and finalist two seasons ago, will be fighting to reach the champions league final which will be place at Allianz Arena, their own home ground. Jupp Heynckes will have a superb goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, Former Manchester City player Jerome Boateng and fast charging Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.

Villarreal had gain enormous experience in champions league in recent years and they won’t go down easily. The yellow submarine have Nilmar and Giuseppe Rossi who netted two goals in second play-off against Odense. Both Bayern Munich and Villarreal have passed tough tests in UEFA play-offs beating FC zurich and Odense 3-0 and 3-1 on aggregate repectively.

Napoli has recently been improving a lot, finished third in Serie A has Marek Hamsik, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani who was fourth contender of European golden boot. Napoli squad is more likely the same and managed to retain their best players. What a champions league debut for Manchester City?

Roberto Mancini's squad, are champions league debutants and considering their players’ talents and experiences, it won’t be surprising to see them making great champions league history on their first appearance. City have shown improvement since last season, winning FA cup and break in premier league top four last season and boosted by arrival of Gaël Clichy, Sergio Aguero and Samir Nasri.

Athletic Bilbao is also celebrating as they have automatically qualified for UEFA Europa league. Athletic Bilbao was scheduled to play against Trabzonspor for UEFA Europa league qualification. Diego Milito played a moajor in Inter Milan success in 2009-2010 before Alexandre Pato's AC Milan steal the show in 2010-2011.

In Group C Manchester United, the last season UEFA champions league’s finalist will start their campaign in same group as Benfica, FC Basel and Romanian minnows Otelul Galati. The Red Devils had brilliant performance last season but suffered 3-1 to Barcelona at Wembley stadium and a set to top this group.

In Group F, Arsenal has been drawn in a tricky group with the Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund, Marseille and Olympiakos. Arsenal finished fourth in Premier league and had to overcome Udinese in play-off match, thanks to Theo Walcott goals in first and second leg matches. The Emirates club saw its Captain Cesc Fabregas, shinning midfielder Sami Nasri, left back Gael Clichy leaving for highly competitive teams.

In Group G, the last year Europa and Portugal champions, Porto was drawn as a top seed with Shakhtar Donetsk from Ukraine, Russia side Zenit St Petersburg and APOEL from Cyprus. AVB's former club will have tough season to prove its ability in champions league football. Radamel Falcao break the UEFA Europa league golas score in one season and Porto will be have to face the challenge of top defender this time without Falcao who moved to Athletico MaDRID.

At the end of champions league draw, journalist voted for the best Europe player among Lionel Messi, Xavi both from Barcelona and Cristiano Ronaldo Real Madrid striker. It wasn’t surprising that all three nominees are playing in La liga. Lionel Messi was voted the UEFA best player and became the first player to have won that award.

1 Sergio Kun Aguero score double on debut and moved to premier league top scorers list

Manchester City commence their premier league title challenge with 4-0 victory over Swansea to be the only team to have won home game in opening round. Promoted Swansea managed to hold the big spending Manchester City till 57' when Michel Vorm punch Johnson cross ball to give Edin Dzeko and easy finish. Before that Michel Vorm were fantastic kept Manchester City at bay but couldn't keep up with the pressure. Sergio Kun Aguero make his debut for Manchester City on 60 minute, and could immediately score with his first shot on goal thanks to Michel Vorm performance.

Eight minutes later, Agüero started his goal scoring chapter in premier league finishing Micah Richards cross and three minutes later he nearly score his second, denied by Vorm but managed to make an assist for David Silva. The £38 million striker scored his second from 30-yard with fantastic shot to give fans in Etihad Stadium hopes for challenging their rivals; Manchester United. His double on debut speak a lot of his ability to challenge for top award and put City right on track for titles challenge. Unlike Fernando Torres £38 million move to chelsea, Aguero had made an immediate impact to his new club. Sergio Aguero has moved straight to the top of premier league top scorers having finished in top ten European goal scorers last season, he can surely challenge for European golden boot this season.

Roberto Mancini signed Aguero as a replacement for Carlos Tevez, but if he failed to sell Carlos Tevez there is a possibility of the two Argentinians playing together. The manager will have more options for the first team and it might demotivate top players as they all want more playing time.

0 Copa America: History overview, Argentina and Uruguay 14 titles apiece, Brazil 8.

To-date Copa America has had 43 editions and 44th edition is still ongoing in Argentina. It started in 1916 and thus the oldest championship in the world. Since its inauguration in 1916, Six nations have won the Copa America cup with Argentina and Uruguay lead with 14 titles each, Brazil (8), Paraguai (2), Peru (2), Bolívia (1) and Colombia (1).

Since 1916, 55 top scorers emerged as in some editions has top scorers tied in number of goals. 1983 had record number of top scorers tied, 4 players; Roberto Dinamite (Brazil), Carlos Aguilera (Uruguay), Jorge Burruchaga (Argentina) and Eduardo Malásquez (Peru) each scored 4 goals.

Record number of goals score is held by three players in 1949 Jair Rosa Pinto (Brazil) scored 9 goals and 1957 two player tied Javier Ambrois (Uruguay)and Humberto Maschio (Argentina) each score 9. Next to the list is Pele who scored 8 goals in 1959 but Brazil did not win the title and Copa America became the only trphy missing in Pele's trophy cabinet.1955 Rodolfo Micheli (Argentina) and 1953 Francisco Molina (Chile) both bagged 8 goals.

In the current Copa America edition, Sergio Aguero (Argentina) and Luis Suárez (Uruguay) lead the top scorer list with 3 goals each. Sergio Aguero was among top 10 scoers in Europen league competitions last season. Argentina failed to progress, Luis Suárez have a bigger chance to be top scorer if he score in the final. If Luis Suárez failed to scorer the top scorer award will again be shared and there is a possibility of another player to join the 3 goals scorer list.
Lionel Messi have had tremedous perfomance at Barcelona but once again fail to show fans expected at national team. Despite creating several chance for his team, only few were converted and the blam fall back to him.

0 Copa America 2011: Sergio Aguero score two goals, Messi assisted two goals, Video highlights

Sergio Aguero scored two goals for Argentina to book a place in Copa America quarter-finals. The Atletico Madrid striker scored on 45th min and 52nd minutes before Real Madrid's Angel Di Maria sealed victory in the 63rd minute. Barcelona’s star; Lionel Messi feed Aguero and Di Maria for second and third goals respectively and created many chances for his team mates. In Group A winners Argentina and Colombia progress to last eight and Costa will wait for results from other game to go their way for two best third placed teams. Argentina will now meet team from Group C, it could be Chile, Uruguay or Peru - while Costa Rica could still progress in third if other results go their way.

"We played very, very well. We scored the goal we had needed in the previous match, but the most important thing is that we played great football tonight."

The manager made 4 changes in starting line-up dropping Ever Banega, Esteban Cambiasso, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Carlos Tevez for Fernando Gago, Di Maria, Aguero and Gonzalo Higuain. Batista is very delighted with Lionel Messi performance and especially the two assist.
